Two UK Patent Applications Filed: Bit Trust & ClawMiner

26 February 2026 The Bitcoin Corporation Ltd

Today, The Bitcoin Corporation Ltd filed two patent applications with the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO). These filings establish priority dates for two core technologies in our stack: Bit Trust (blockchain-native IP registration) and ClawMiner (hardware AI agent with on-chain audit).

Bit Trust

GB2604176.4

A blockchain-native intellectual property registration system using identity token threads. Combines the $401 identity protocol with an encrypted vault and tiered trust registration to create graduated, legally-weighted IP evidence — from simple timestamps to professional attestation.

ClawMiner

GB2604178.0

A hardware AI agent device with multi-chain audit inscription on a blockchain. Integrates a secure element, autonomous AI agent, multi-chain wallet, and inscription engine. Introduces Proof of Indexing — replacing wasteful hash computation with productive work.

Why This Matters

Filing with the UKIPO establishes a priority date — the legal timestamp that determines who invented what first. Under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), we have 12 months to file internationally using today's date as priority.

Bit Trust turns the Companies Act (s.113/s.116) into software. Instead of paper registers and solicitors, shareholders are verified via cryptographic identity chains on the Bitcoin blockchain. IP is registered with graduated evidentiary weight — from a simple timestamp (like posting a sealed envelope to yourself) up to professional attestation that approaches the standard of a notarised document.

ClawMiner is the first hardware device that combines an AI agent, secure key storage, multi-chain wallets, and an immutable audit trail in a single unit. Every action the AI takes is inscribed on BSV. The Proof of Indexing consensus mechanism means the device earns tokens by doing useful data-processing work — not wasting electricity on arbitrary hash puzzles.

How They Connect

These two patents form complementary halves of the same system. ClawMiner is the hardware that performs work and inscribes proof. Bit Trust is the identity and IP layer that gives that proof legal weight. Together:

ClawMiner (hardware) → performs work → inscribes audit trail on BSV
Bit Trust (identity) → binds work to verified creator → grades evidence
$401 protocol (identity chain) → connects both to the creator's real identity

On-Chain Document Hashes

We practice what we preach. The SHA-256 hashes of the patent application documents filed today are published below and inscribed on the BSV blockchain. Anyone can verify document integrity by hashing the original files and comparing.
